Ta da! Here is the tree skirt that has taken me decades to make! It’s a long story. Each year at Christmas, I would debate what to do and then end up with a yard or two of fabric swirled around the base. There’s always been plenty of fabric around to choose from.
I found this design a few years ago. It is a foundation pieced pattern from Cindi Edgerton. It took me two years to make – - – the strips were narrow and it was so repetitious. But here it is and I am happy that it is finally done!
Jasmine is dreaming of sugarplums? mice? crunchy birds? a warm lap? I hope you all have the Christmas of your dreams….
Debbie, the tree skirt is stunning. It was worth waiting for. I wish you a Merry Christmas and a wonderful New Year.
I am looking forward to dyeing with you next year, Beverly. Here’s to a colorful 2011!
